Mika Joukio Appointed CEO of Ecobio Starting August 1, 2026

Mika Joukio (M.Sc. Tech.) will assume the role of CEO at Ecobio starting August 1, 2026.

Mika Joukio, 62, has previously held several executive positions at Metsä Board, most recently serving as the company’s CEO. His role as CEO at Ecobio is temporary.

Ecobio warmly thanks the outgoing CEO, Jesse Maula, for his significant contributions to the company’s development. CEO Jesse Maula will move to a position as CEO of an IT company starting in early August. Ecobio’s collaboration with Jesse continues.
